European Farmers Network

The European Farmers Network (EFN) is a partnership between Compassion in World Farming (Compassion) and FAI (The Food Animal Initiative). EFN is a values-driven association of farmers across Europe who believe that higher animal welfare is an essential part of sustainable agriculture.

The focus of the EFN is to bring together farmers who are willing to lead by example, demonstrating solutions to a wide audience.

'It is vital that animal welfare is put into the context of sustainable food production. As a group we firmly believe that it is possible to look after people, animals and the environment while providing food for the world's population.'
